Browser extension for Docusign Workflow Builder

Launch workflows from the record you have open

Baton Launcher opens beside Salesforce, Smartsheet, HiBob and the other tools your team uses. Sign in with your Docusign account, open a record and press Launch. Baton fills the workflow's inputs from the page.

Works in Microsoft Edge too. You need a Workflow Builder workflow with an API trigger.

How it works

From the record to a running workflow in three steps

You stay in the app you work in. Baton Launcher opens beside it and does the copying for you.

01

Open a record

Baton recognises the app and the record from the page you have open. A Salesforce opportunity, a HiBob employee and a Smartsheet row each count as a record.

02

Choose a workflow

Baton fills each input from the page field with the same meaning. If a value sits somewhere unusual, click it on the page once and Baton remembers where to look.

03

Check and launch

You see the values before they leave the browser. After you press Launch, Activity shows where each workflow stands and opens it in Docusign.

Grids and lists

Select a row and Baton reads it

On Smartsheet, Airtable, monday.com and HiBob, the row you select becomes the record. Baton fills the workflow from its columns, so you don't copy a value by hand.

Setup

Set up in the time it takes to sign in

Install the extension and sign in with Docusign. Your apps stay as they are, and you don't need an account with us.

Chrome or Edge

Install it from the store once it launches, or your IT team deploys it for everyone through browser policy.

Your Docusign account

Sign in with the account you use today. The Docusign sign-in window takes your password, and Baton never sees it.

A workflow with an API trigger

Baton lists the workflows you can start and shows the inputs each one asks for.

FAQ

Questions teams ask first

Which browsers does Baton Launcher run in?
Baton Launcher runs in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on Windows and macOS.
What do I need in Docusign?
You need a Workflow Builder workflow with an API trigger. Baton lists the workflows you can start and shows the inputs each one asks for.
Does Fluidlabs see our data?
No. The values you launch go from your browser to Docusign without passing through Fluidlabs. Fluidlabs runs one small service that completes the Docusign sign-in, and it never receives record data.
Can IT install it for the whole company?
Yes. IT can install it for everyone through Chrome or Edge browser policy and choose the sign-in it offers.
