Quote to cash, from the contract stage to the first invoice

Four steps separate a deal at the contract stage from its first invoice. For Stripe accounts, dialed technologies' Stripe Invoicing app creates that invoice from Attio, including from a workflow that runs when a deal reaches a stage you choose. On qualifying IAM plans, such as IAM Professional and above, the Docusign Make a Web Request step can send workflow values, such as participant inputs, to Attio's API. Test that connection, as the FAQ below describes, before a process depends on it. If the test fails, or the write-back needs a sign-in method or request type the step does not list, we build a private app for your Docusign account.

How an Attio API integration moves data

Attio's documentation supports four patterns, and each card cites the pages behind it. On the scoping call we pick one based on how soon the other system needs a change and how many records move.

Webhook relay

Attio posts a webhook for each event you subscribe to, such as a list entry update, and a filter can narrow it to one list or attribute. Our hosted relay verifies the Attio-Signature HMAC, drops repeats by Idempotency-Key and passes the change on.

Use it when the other system needs each stage change in Attio as soon as Attio sends it.

Attio workflow with an HTTP step

An Attio workflow starts when an attribute such as the deal stage changes. Its Send HTTP request step posts the deal's values to an endpoint we host, and your admin edits the trigger inside Attio.

Use it when your Attio admin wants to own the conditions that start the process.

Scheduled sync

A job queries records with a filter, such as deals in one stage or records created since the last run, and pages with limit and offset. It stays under Attio's limits: 100 reads and 25 writes per second, plus score-based limits on List records.

Use it for reporting and bulk loads that can wait for the next scheduled run.

Lookup and write-back

The other system reads one deal by its record ID when an agreement needs current values. After signature, it updates the deal and uploads the signed PDF, up to 50 MB, through a file endpoint that Attio marks as beta.

Use it when the agreement must carry live deal values and the signed copy belongs on the record.

Attio's API, as we design around it

We took each fact from the vendors' own documentation and listings. The sources list at the foot of this page links each one.

Verified on 28 September 2026.

Authentication
An app for many workspaces uses OAuth 2.0, and an integration for one workspace uses an API key from Attio's developer settings. Each token carries scopes and a level, workspace or user, and only an OAuth token can act as a user. An integration sends the token as a Bearer token, or over HTTP Basic Authentication with the token as the username and a blank password.
Webhooks
Attio sends webhooks for events such as record.updated and list-entry.updated, applies the filters you set, and signs each request with a SHA-256 HMAC in the Attio-Signature header. It guarantees at-least-once delivery with an Idempotency-Key header and retries a failed delivery up to 10 times over about 3 days. A target URL receives at most 25 requests per second, and Attio counts a reply slower than 5 seconds as a failure.
API limits
Attio allows 100 read requests and 25 write requests per second across the whole API. The List records and List entries endpoints add score-based limits over a 10-second sliding window. A request over a limit returns 429 with a Retry-After header.
Test environment
Attio recommends an isolated development workspace for each developer, and its support team provides development workspaces on request. The developer settings page sends test webhook payloads to a target URL.
Marketplace listing
Attio App Store. The Attio team reviews each app before it appears in the App Store and aims to finish a review within 1 week. A listing needs Overview, How It Works and Configure texts of 100 to 3,000 characters each, and a first submission needs a video walkthrough of the app.

FAQ

Attio integrations, answered

What does Attio integrate with?
The Attio App Store lists apps that Attio builds, such as Gmail, Slack, Mailchimp and Stripe, and apps that partners build, such as Clay and Intercom's Fin. Zapier and Make list Attio for connector automations. Attio includes App Store apps and API access on all four plans. For a process no listing covers, we build a private integration on Attio's REST API and host it for your team.
Is there an Attio Docusign integration?
On 28 September 2026 neither the Docusign App Center nor the Attio App Store listed an app that connects the two. Zapier and Make list triggers and actions for both, including the Docusign Trigger Workflow action for IAM plans. Attio for Docusign IAM is in development at Fluidlabs.
Does Fluidlabs have an Attio app on the Docusign App Center?
No. Attio for Docusign IAM is in development at Fluidlabs. On 28 September 2026 the Docusign App Center listed no Attio app from any publisher. Zapier and Make list both products, and on qualifying IAM plans, such as IAM Professional and above, the Docusign Make a Web Request step calls external APIs from Workflow Builder.
Can Docusign Workflow Builder call Attio's API without a dedicated app?
Docusign documents a Make a Web Request step that sends GET, POST or PUT requests from a workflow on qualifying IAM plans, such as IAM Professional and above. Its configuration guide lists Basic Auth connections with a user name and password. Attio accepts HTTP Basic Authentication with the access token as the username and a blank password. Neither vendor documents this pairing, so test it on your accounts before a process depends on it. If the test works, we can build the workflow around the step in your Docusign account.
How does an integration authenticate with Attio's API?
An app for many workspaces uses OAuth 2.0, and an integration for one workspace uses an API key from Attio's developer settings. Scopes on each token limit what it reads and writes, and the webhook endpoints need a workspace-level token. Attio signs each webhook with a SHA-256 HMAC in the Attio-Signature header.
How does Fluidlabs price a custom integration?
We agree a fixed price in a written scope before work starts, then a monthly hosting plan. You see both numbers in the same document. Nothing bills hourly.
Who hosts and maintains what Fluidlabs builds?
Fluidlabs does. The engineers who build a private app or integration run it, monitor it and patch it. You choose the US region, the EU region or both, and your data stays there. Docusign and the other publishers on this page run and support their own public apps. The security and compliance section on this page has our certificate and agreements to download, and a form to request our security overview.
